The development of the new Gynaecology 3, 2, 1 approach offers a depth of range which is based on both patient and clinical needs. Both the Gynae 3 and Gynae 2 versions provide smooth electric adjustment of height, tilt and backrest angle to suit a wide range of obstetric and gynaecology procedures. The addition of DIN rails enables the 'quick release' of accessories, allowing patient access from either side or the front of the couch.

The design of the instrument shelf allows it to 'double' as a foot support surface for the patient. Our research has shown that post-treatment, patient dignity can be maintained by returning the legs to a neutral position, using the shelf as a foot support surface. This has the additional benefit of reducing muscular tension in hip joints prior to standing and walking.

All of these product developments contribute to the creation of a relaxed patient. A relaxed patient - it is suggested - could be examined and treated more easily, with a greater chance of a successful outcome and in a shorter period of time.
