Fluid Warming Cabinet

The only safe and accurate method of determining and maintaining Saline, irrigation, Glycene, Parenteral and IPD fluid temperature to the manufacturers recommendations. Fluid warming cabinets are essential in Maternity, Recovery, Theatre, Specialist and Intensive Care Units. Malmet Fluid Warming Cabinets are the only cabinets that have a fluid temperature sensor plate enabling actual fluid temperature to be read via the main display board. Why take the risk?

Blanket Warming Cabinet

Reduce the risk of hypothermic reaction and post-operative discomfit and stress in Patients. Blankets are gently heated to restore body temperature post surgery and assist thermo-regulation. Malmet Blanket Warming Cabinets are recommended for Recovery, Maternity, General Ward, Specialist and Intensive Care Units.

Storage Cabinet

Fluid and Blanket Warming Cabinets can be combined with this lockable storage cabinet to provide convenient storage with no additional floor space requirement Use separately and this lockable cabinet has many applications throughout the health care industry.

Cabinet Stand

Convert bench or wall mounted cabinets into a convenient working height free-standing unit. The cabinet stand comes complete with adjustable feet and a removable front panel for ease of cleaning.

Floor-bench Skirt

Convert any standard wall mounted cabinet into a bench or floor unit. The skirt has adjustable feet and a removable front panel for ease of cleaning.

Combination Conversion Kit

Convert any single cabinet into a combination cabinet. Mix and match cabinets to suit your future requirements. For wall mounted cabinets the combination conversion kit comprises of a floor-bench skirt and a rear joining bracket. Single bench and floor cabinets will already have the floor-bench skirt and only require the rear joining bracket.

Double Glazed Doors Continuous inventory monitoring without heat loss. The toughened glass has a 16mm thermal gap between panes to provide insulation and a safe external temperature.

Temperature Lock Out Set point temperatures are locked to prevent unauthorised change

Adjustable Shelving Wire electro-polished shelves are adjustable to suit your requirements. 2 litre and 1 litre bottles and bags can be stored either standing up or lying down.

Centre Opening Doors Save space and eliminate the need for left or right hand opening. Magnetic door closure prevents heat loss. Multi-Purpose Installation All Malmet Cabinets have a specially designed wall mounting bracket. They can be converted to a free-standing or bench unit with the addition of a floor-bench skirt or cabinet stand.

Combination Units A unique feature of the Malmet Cabinet range is its ability to convert any single cabinet into a combination unit. Mix and match to suit your requirements either now or in the future. Great when space is at a premium.

Over Heat Protection Fluid Warming Cabinets are pre-set at 37 deg C and governed not to exceed 50 deg C. Blanket Warming Cabinets can not be increased above 60 deg C. Temperature shut out is 5 deg C above set point temperature.

 Serviceability All serviceable parts are housed in a slide out service compartment making routing service a breeze.

Fan Assisted Convection Heating Hot air is propelled from the low-wattage element through special ducting, ensuring even and economical heat distribution. Cabinet temperature variance is 1 deg C

Control The 8 bit microcontroller reads temperature in 1 deg C increments. Settings are stored in non-volatile memory allowing retention during a power loss.

Heater Drive Solid state switching offers years of reliability and close tolerance switching. The system is MEC complaint with EMI emissions within approved standards.

Construction The cabinet is double walled stainless steel with an insulated cavity. Combined with double glazed doors this ensures high efficiency, low running costs and a cool to touch exterior surface.
