The new multifunction scale seca 684 is seca’s jack–of–all–trades. Due to its many functions, this scale is ideal for use in hospitals, general medicine, nephrology and youth medicine as well as in nursing homes. We have addressed the many needs of daily medical life through sophisticated and functional design. The result? A scale that makes your work easier, every day.

Fold up seat

On this scale patients can stand aided by a stable handrail, sit on the integrated folding seat, or remain in a wheelchair on the large platform (760 x 820 mm). When standing, a stable handrail provides a safe hold for unstable patients. When sitting, a comfortable seat for minimally ambulatory patients can be raised and lowered with one hand. Special attention was given to making the scale easy to access, and a stop barrier for the front wheels of the wheelchair provides additional safety.

TARE and pre–TARE functions enable reliable net weight determination in spite of added weight, for example by deducting the known weight of a wheelchair. The practical auto–HOLD function shows the weight even after the patient has left the scale. Damping compensates for small movements to give precise results. The weight is always easy for patient and caregiver to read from the swiveling display mounted at convenient hip level.

The non–slip rubber coating and handrail add safety, while integrated transport castors make the scale easy to move.

With the seca 360° wireless technology the seca 684 can transmit measurements to the optional seca 360° wireless printer. With the network–capable software solutions seca analytics 105 or seca emr flash 101 and wireless USB adapter seca 456, your PC can receive and analyze measurements and forward them to an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Thus the seca 684 is EMR integrated and ready to handle digital patient records and all the demands the future will bring.
