The Journey’s unique adjustable cow-horn ensures maximum flexibility and improved patient comfort.
No matter what the patient task or environment, the cow–horn can be adjusted to suit.
With three different cow–horn height options,
the Journey can support a wider range of patient heights and sizes.
This additional method of adjustment ensures total flexibility for the care–giver.
The Journey was designed with the five key principles of moving and handling in mind.
Hand control clip ensures convenient storage when not in use.
Foot ‘push pad’ helps reduce the force needed to initiate forward movement.
Over-sized push handle for improved handling and manoeuvrability.
The Smart™ Monitor control system records the exact amount of work completed by the actuator each and every time the lift is used, regardless of a patient’s weight or lift height covered. The intelligent system advises the user to schedule key maintenance helping to ensure your lift remains in optimum condition.
Unlike any other standaid on the market, the Journey can fold making it easy to transport and store. This functionality gives active users the option to travel outside the confines of their own home.
To fold the Journey, adjust the cow-horn to the fold position then raise the knee pad to its upper most point.
Next, unlock the mast–locking device and lower the mast assembly towards the legs.
The mast then locks into position. The Journey is now ready to be stored or transported.
In environments where space and storage are at a premium, the Journey can fold quickly and be stored upright to conserve storage space.
Once folded, the Journey fits comfortably into the boot of most family sized saloons.
With its quick–release technology, the Journey folds or unfolds in a matter of seconds without the need for tools or special attachments.
The Journey’s knee pad is height adjustable to ensure the patient feels comfortable and fully supported throughout the transfer.
The knee pad is contoured for improved patient comfort and is easy to clean to help prevent cross infection.
A retractable safety belt provides additional support for patients needing further reassurance.
The knee pad can be adjusted in height within a 10 inch (260mm) range.
By removing the foot tray, the Journey transforms into a rehabilitation aid that allows a patient to fully stand. Once standing, the patient can be encouraged to walk independently.
Foot tray attached.
The foot tray is easily removed for cleaning or rehabilitation activity.
Foot tray removed for gait training.
