Guldmann Slings — General Information

Remember: To be able to work efficiently and safely, you have to choose, in every case, the correct type of product in the right size and you also have to understand how to use it in the best possible way.

Guldmann designed slings make it easy, practical and quick for the carer to support the user while being lifted and moved from one point to another, as well as ensuring that the carer can undertake such operations with a minimum of effort and strain.

The maximum lifting capacity for all Guldmann slings is 255kg — except Basic Basic and Basic High XXXL which can lift up to 500kg.

Trainer Sling

Function:
Provides support around the chest and shoulder areas. Detachable leg straps give support around the hip area and prevent the user from sliding out of the sling.

• Suitable for:

• persons with reduced body balance, but must be able to bear weight on their legs
• walking training
• supported standing
• upright postures

Bariatric Gait Trainer

• Will support the patient in a standing position, maximizing comfort and support

Function:
Supports the whole body including the head.

• Suitable for:

• lifting persons with little control over their head and body

Repositioning Sling

A sling for use as part of the linen makeup of the patient bed; leave positioned underneath patient, ready to use for care tasks.

Suitable for: rolling to sidelying, repositioning patient up in bed, sitting forward head and trunk, supine lateral transfers to another surface such as beds + stretchers, and full lift in supine off of bed to zero bed scale, stripe linen, or other.
